Girls Night In Essentials

Hello! I hope you have all had a lovely few weeks. I am so sorry this post is so late. I have been a little busy but hopefully I will blog again tomorrow so hopefully that will make up for it. So today's post is on the topic of girly nights in/sleepovers and I will be sharing with you some of the things I love to do on these nights when I'm spending time with friends, my sister or sometimes on my own if I have had a bad day or I just want to relax a little. I hope you enjoy this post and make sure to leave your comments below.

Face and hair masks:

Face and hair masks are an essential for me on a girly night as they are so relaxing, smell so good and make your skin feel so amazing. I also love to put a little cucumber on my eyes as apparently it's good for them or something although it does sting a little if you cut your slices too thick. This is also a great thing to do with friends as it is so fun- especially if you are super messy like me and get it everywhere.

Music:

Music is a definite for me on a girly night whether it is your favourite bouncy songs which you like to dance to with your friends or relaxing and calming music. If you want to relax, one of my favourite songs to listen to is Seventh Heaven on YouTube as it is really calming and I also like to listen to it when I am having a panic attack as well. *just a tip*

Movies:

I absolutely love to watch weepy movies on a girly night and the ones above are my absolute favourites. They are just so so good and definites to put onto your 'to watch' list. I just love crying over movies with my friends and as my friends will know, I am a really weepy person and cry at absolutely everything.

Nails:

I absolutely love doing my nails and friends nails on sleepovers. I have a friend who is absolutely amazing at nails and we all queue up for her to do our nails.

Pampering and Scented candles:

I am a massive pamper fan and I always do lots of pampering on girly nights. I also love to light some scented candles or some incense to make the room smell beautiful. I always go and buy lots of creams and things the day before or just use up ones I have already got.

Onesies:

Onsies are a must when having a girly night as they are so cosy and warm. I absolutely love my onesie (I have the same one as in the pic)! When wearing a onesie you must also do the onsie dance!

Ice cream:

I love ice-cream so much (especially Ben & Jerry's) and it is my comfort food so it is perfect for a girly night. I always make sure to buy lots of ice cream before a girly night so we can have it with weepy movies.

Photo booth/ selfies and videos:

I always love to take lots of selfies and videos on girly nights so I can remember the happy little memories forever. I went to my friend's party recently and she had set up her own little photo booth which I thought was amazing. I think she used an old shelving unit with the shelves taken out (but I'm not 100% sure) and then decorated it but it was so amazing and really fun to take lots of pics in.

Makeovers:

My friends and I always love to do makeovers on each other on a girly night, whether it be nice ones for the morning, ridiculous ones or just an evening makeover for a photoshoot. It is just so fun to do with friends and lovely to get a little creative.

Hair:

On a girly night, I always tend to do overnight curls so if I am feeling lazy after a night of little sleep, I can just take my plaits down and my hair will be done. To do this, I will French plait my hair after using a hair mask, (when it's still wet) then blow-dry it in place and maybe put a little hairspray on to make sure it's secure.

Yoga:

This may seem a little strange, but I love to do yoga either before going to sleep as it is so relaxing and prepares you for bed or in the morning as it energises  you and wakes you up more after a night of little sleep.

Pillow fight:

A pillow fight is a must in a girly night as it  is so fun to do with your friends and is just a traditional thing to do.

Challenges:

My friends and I always love to do a few challenges on a girly night because they are so funny. We love this challenge where about two or three people have to put water in their mouths then we all have to try and make them laugh. This game is so fun (apart from if you have a cold and can't breathe- been there).

Watch lots of YouTube:

As many of you will know, I am a big YouTube- obsessive and could watch it for hours, especially channels like Zoella,
Tanya Burr, Niomi Smart, Sprinkle of Glitter, Bethany Mota and BubzBeauty. This just a great activity to do with friends if you are a YouTube lover like me.

Read Magazines:

I always love to read lots of magazines when I'm having so me-time, especially Vogue and others like that because,  as some of you will know, I absolutely live fashion and it has been to become a fashion design since I was about 8 and Vogue is just so inspirational and creative.

Munchies:

It is always good to buy a ramge of munchies before a girly night so that if people get hungry, they can just help themselves to snacks. I think that it's also good to include some more healthy snacks, as well as the less healthy ones (like ice-cream) and make sure to look out for my post on how to make some healthy munchies in a few weeks.

Make tops:

I find this idea so so cute of making best friend tops on a girly night. My friend and I did this before and I just think it's so lovely. We bought some transfer paper and white tops, printed a design onto the transfer paper then ironed it on.

Foot spa:

My mum actually owns a little foot spa and it is so lovely and relaxing. It vibrates, massages and makes bubbles and I love to put some rose petals or bath salts in it. If you don't own a foot spa, you can always do this in the bath and you and your friends can all sit around the edge.

Cooking:

On a girly night, I always love to do a bit of cooking whether it's decorating cupcakes, making smoothies/milkshake or making mini pizzas. At a sleepover, my friends and I always make mini pizzas as it is so fun and they taste amazing.

I hope you have enjoyed this post and it has given you some inspiration for your girly nights. Make sure to leave your comments below and I hope to see you all again very very soon.

January Favourites

Hello my beautiful people! I hope you have all had a lovely week. Today's post is a little more beauty-themed and is, indeed, my January favourites. For those of you who have never come across 'monthly favourites' before, this is a collection of my favourite beauty products, accessories, books, films, scented candles and all that jazz. Btw I am super super sorry for the awful quality and editing of these photos as this is new to me so hopefully I will improve as I do this more often. Before I begin, I would also like to apologise for the vast amount of pink grapefruit-scented products in this favourites- I have recently become a little obsessed with pink grapefruit #sorrynotsorry. So I hope you enjoy this and will maybe give you some ideas of products to try and some of the most beautiful scents. Make sure to leave your opinions on this post in the comments box below :)

The first of my monthly favourites is this beautiful over-sized, pastel pink, chequed  scarf from New Look. I am absolutely in love with this scarf as it is so cosy, fluffy and warm and is a beautiful colour. These scaves also seem to be very fashionable this winter and as I am absolutely obsessed with pastel colours, I decided to opt for this shade and I absolutely love it. I also picked up this scarf in New Look then found it was in the sale section and was dropped from about £15 to about £6 so I was very happy with this purchase.

The next item in my favourites is the Botanics Uplifting Face Scrub. This product is absolutely amazing and makes my skin feel so so smooth and also is beautifully scented. I first picked up this product over a year ago in Boots and, from then, have never used a different exfoliator. It is just so so good that I am on about my 4th tube in a row (they also last for months and months). I tend to use this 2-3 times a week in my cleanse, tone, moisturise facial routine after cleansing but I am not one hundred percent sure that this is correct so if I am doing this completely wrong, please tell me in the comments below and we can all help each other!

The third item is this beautiful Cath Kidston beauty set which consists of geranium scented shower gel, hand cream and lip cream. I picked this up in Harrods a while back, meaning this was a little on the pricey side (£10) for what it was but I really wanted to buy something from Harrods and I absolutely love Cath Kidston. When I first used this, I instantly fell in love with it! This smells so amazing and makes my skin/hands/lips feel amazing. I also love the packaging, it is so pretty and floral and pastel and I just found this really cute.

This book was an absolute definite for this favourites since page one. Firstly, it was written by the most lovely Youtuber who I absolutely love. Even if Zoe didn't write this book I would have still fallen in live with it as it is so so amazing and the story is so beautiful. Personally, I find this book very relatable with my panic attacks, anxiety and also the typical teenage girl dramas and it also helped me so so much and gave amazing tips on how to calm down during a panic attack. If this book is ever brought out as a movie, I would defiantly audition for the role of Penny! I did actually have a dream that this happened and I got to meet Zoe during auditions and then I was cast as Penny and the boy who played Noah was super cute and we fell in love and got married in New York :) Maybe it's a sign :p

For this next product (Grace Cole London: Watermelon and Pink Grapefruit  Body Sprits), it was love at first sight for me. My friends and I were shopping in Superderug and were in the body mists/sprays/perfume isle and picking up all the bottles and spraying them to see if we liked them or not (which you're not really supposed to do- whoopsies :s) and we all instantly fell in love with this body sprits and all three of of us bought one and also bought one for our other friend because it smelt so so yummy!

I received this cute little gift of Joules Floral Fizzing Bath 'Bulbs' for Christmas and I find it so so cute. The packaging was the cutest thing ever and I just absolutely fell in love with the whole concept of egg-shaped bath bombs on an egg carton. It also smells absolutely amazing and makes my skin feel so smooth and is the so nice for a pamper night. I think you can buy these in Boots but I am not one hundred percent sure.

This product- Neutrogena Visably Clear Pink Grapefruit Facial Wash- is so so amazing (and is yet again pink grapefruit-scented). As my skin is prone to spots, I find this facial wash so affective and gets rid of spots so quickly and it also smells amazing! This is possibly my favourite product of this whole post! You could probably pick this up in any high street drugstore such as Superdrug or Boots or maybe a supermarket.

I bought this pink tote bag from New Look (which is one of my favourite shops) a few weeks ago and I absolutely love it. The first day I got it, I constantly carried it around the house. I fell in love with the beautiful colour and design and I feel so posh carrying it around. It is also very spacious so can fit all my school/weekend essentials in it. I just love love love this bag!

The next of my January favourites is this lush scented candle from Next-Homeware. It is apricot and pink grapefruit scented and smells so fruity and yummy. It is also beautifully packaged and comes in a pack of six. It has such a long burning time as well. It is just so yummiful!

These NSpa mango and raspberry body butters smell so amazing and are just great to use all over your body after a bath or shower or on a pamper night for your hands and feet. They literally are some of the nicest smelling things ever and are just so lovely and make my skin feel amazing. I could literally sit there smell these all day!

Before using this shower gel, I had never really tried any Soap & Glory products. I am now absolutely obsessed with this brand- especially this shower gel as it smells so yummy and again, makes my skin feel so smooth. It is the perfect product to use on a pamper night! It is also very long-lasting as it is very big.

As some of you may know, I am an absolute face mask- obsessive and these two are my favourite, simply because they smell so amazing! These are again perfect for a pamper night and are my pamper night favourites.

Oh my gosh, this book is just so so so amazing. It is one of the best books I have ever read! It is so beautiful and sad and I cried so so much at the end. I would defiantly recommend for you to all read it. It is the cutest book ever and is again so relatable. I am absolutely in love with the film as well an it will almost definitely be appearing in my next favourites.

Thank you so so much for reading this blog post. Sorry this post was so long. Make sure to leave your comments below and I am looking forward to seeing you again very very soon.

New Year 2015 ~ Resolutions

Hello 2015 :)

Hello my beautiful people. I hope you had a lovely Christmas and had an amazing start to the new year. I am super excited for this following year as it is a new start when we can also remember the amazing memories of 2014 but also to forget the more rubbishy ones and start afresh. So, I am very sorry that I have not posted for a long while but I have been a very busy bunny since Christmas- starting back school and all the rest. I have had quite a rubbishy start to the new year personally (I hope you have had a much better month) with an increase on my amount of panic attacks and anxiety and I don't want to bore you with my pathetic dramas so I have decided to start my 'new year' this year in February, so that these horrible first few weeks don't ruin my impression on this year. So I took this opportunity to share some of my new year's resolutions with you  and I would love it if you would comment some of your new year's resolutions below and if you have managed to keep them or whether you would prefer a new start to the year like me.

As usual, I have written pages and pages of targets/things to do for the year, so I am just going to share some of my favourites with you:

  • Eat more healthily and drink more water
  • Spend less time using electronics
  • Become more organised
  • Do a daily 'feel good' (doing something lovely for someone)
  • Become more kind and selfless and less self-centered and attention seeking
  • Raise money for charity and sort out my things to give to a charity shop
  • Say yes to more opportunities
  • Go to Amity Fest
  • Smile and be myself
  • Pray more and spend more time with God
  • Sort out my panic and anxiety
  • Become more organised
  • Go to Brighton
  • Do more exercise and get more fresh air
  • Make lots more amazing memories with friends and meet new friends
  • Try to blog at least once a week :)  (probably on Wednesdays- I have been coming up with lots of new topics to blog on )
  • Start dance class and go to the fitness suite more often
  • Spend more time with my family (without arguing)
  • Help my mum out more
  • Get the best out of this year, try my best and follow my dreams
  • Be more creative
  • Get more flexible
  • Do more cooking, art and sewing
  • Surround myself with everyone I love and stay away from the few people I don't like
  • Have an amazing year!

Another of my new year's resolutions was to maybe start YouTube with my friend but i am not completely sure yet and it is quite personal so I would appreciate it if people didn't start saying thing. Please leave your opinions in the comments below and also some ideas and inspiration for names as we are a little stuck at the minute. We thought maybe Pastel Dreamers or Dreams Above You but we are not completely sure yet.

Thank you so so much for reading. I know this was quite a boring post but I hope this has helped some of you come up with some ideas for new year's resolutions and remember to comment below.

Love you all so so much

December ~ Starbucks, Christmas Shopping, Snuggles and Too Much Excitement

Okay, I would just like to start this blog post by saying that I am much much too overly-excited for Christmas and I will probably sound as if I am a little child again, peeing myself with over-excitedness every day from the start of October up until Christmas (which is basically how I am feeling at the minute). I just absolutely in love with this time of the year and I get super super excited (which you have probably worked out by now). I am even more excited this year than I was when I was little girl and even then I was a very over-the-top and excitable child. I just absolutely love all the festivity, happiness and magic of Christmas and love all the big snugly jumpers and boots. Some of my favorite parts about December is the Christmas shopping, lots of Starbucks and snuggles and lazy days with pajamas, movies and ice cream (which is not a stereo-typically wintery snack however is an essential to the life of a weepy teenage girl).

I actually find this picture so so adorable so I actually had to include this on my blog post! I should definitely  dress my guinea pigs like this for Christmas although I am not sure how much they would enjoy it...

As a Christian girl, Christmas is also a very important part of my life and attending church around Christmas time just adds to the excitement and makes it almost overwhelming. I absolutely love the story of Christmas and remembering it with all my family and friends every year.

This Christmas is going to be so so special to me and I am super super excited! I literally cannot wait or contain my excitement and I have now got all my decorations up and nearly all my presents sorted and have been listening to Christmas music non-stop (since November)!

Sorry this is such such a short post :(
Love you so much.
Have a lovely Christmas and New Year.
I hope to post again very very soon

London and Les Miserables

I have been wanting to write a post on this for such a long time, and now I have finally got the chance to write this so I am really excited:

So, a few weeks back my amazing brother and sister took me to London to see Les Miserables and to do a little shopping and sight seeing for my birthday as some of you may know that I am so obsessed  love musicals and I have been wanting to see Les Mis practically my whole life and I absolutely love shopping and sight seeing, esoecially around London which is so pretty. Let me just tell you that it was absolutely amazing and I would never ever regret going. I fell in love with London as it is so beautiful and historic and atmospheric. I also fell in love with Les Mis and now cannot stop singing the songs. I am also so so madly in love with Marius from Les Mis not only because he was so beautiful but also because  his charecter was so amazing and he sung so beautifully. He has now been added to my long list of (minor) celebrity boyfriends who will marry me as soon as I become old enough.

I spent my whole weekend and did so many things which were all so amazing. I got to see Buckingham Palace, visit harrods (which was so amazing - I am so so in love) and hamleys, m&m world, walk through Green Park, go shopping in Oxford Street, visit Trafalgar Square and have a tasty meal in Pizza Express. I know this is quite irrelevant but I also discovered my new favourite cafè- Pret Et Manger- which I now have an obsession with.

Thank you so much for reading this. I know this may be quite boring for some of you. Also thank you so much to my brother and sister for taking me to  London for the most amazing experience ever.

Leave down in the comments some of the best weekends you have ever had that you can remember.

Love you lovely people
